Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar

After almost a day in and out of the plane and all the misfortunes that we’ve been through, Red and I finally saw the familiar faces in MSP airport. Zel, Marc and Donz picked us up at the airport and we went straight to our hotel. They gave us a few minutes to freshen up and then we headed out to grab dinner. I was really tired and groggy but their laughter made me a little sober. They already had a restaurant in mind which they told us was just a “walking distance” from our hotel. I was literally dragging my legs until we finally reached our destination - Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar.

I am really amazed that the sun still shines here even until 9 in the evening. Aside from the late sunset, I am also amazed how friendly the people are here in Minnesota. The waiting staff that ushered us in our seats was so warm and cheerful. Ogie was right when he told me that people here are service-oriented. They greet you with a smile and never fail to shoot a short conversation with the customers.

After the usual “How are you?” and “My name is ___ and I’ll be ____”, the next thing that they ask is if you want anything to drink. And they are really prompt to serve it to you even if you only asked for water. How I wish restaurants back home are the same. Some need to wait for the customers to choke to death before serving water.

I was really tired and sad at the same time because it was my first food trip without Boyet so I wasn’t still in the mood to take photos. I only took a shot of my food because I’m also so shy to interrupt their dinner. Haha!

Big Jack Daddy Burger USD8.79

I was astounded when my burger was served to me. My first question was, “How in the world am I going to eat this?” Aside from the juicy patty and the usual veggies, the shredded barbecue-flavored meat was a nice addition to the burger. You are definitely mistaken if you think that was it because two large onion rings sealed the deal. I actually ended up taking home a quarter of the burger and had it the following day.
