We immediately scanned the menu, and we realized that our fears were unwarranted after all. It was not as expensive as we thought it would be! Looks can really be deceiving. LOL! :p
We jump started our lunch with three pieces of Crispy Barbecued Pork Snow Buns. My first instinct was to compare it with that from Tim Ho Wan.

The pork filling has the perfect sweet and savory blend. The meat is really tender. I also loved that the sauce was just enough to make me taste the barbecue flavor. But more than the pork filling, it was actually the bun which stole the spotlight! Its milky taste was very evident. The bun is flaky which made it remain true to its name. It really is a SNOW BUN!
We got an order of fried rice. It was just okay so I guess it’s why I totally forgot it. I simply appreciate the fact that it’s not swimming in oil like the fried rice from other Chinese restaurants.
My husband suggested we get their Honey Garlic Spareribs. True to its name, we could totally taste the pungent flavor from the garlic which effortlessly complemented the hint of sweetness from honey. I also loved that the honey is not overly sweet. There was actually a “kick” at each bite, and it’s probably brought by the mixture of the honey and garlic.

I mentioned in an earlier post that my daughter, Zayne, is obsessed with pancit. This is why it was a no-brainer that we decided to give Cantonese Seafood Pan Fried Noodles a spot on our table.
I looked at the shiny noodles lying on an oval plate, and I immediately concluded that it would be too oily and too salty. My first bite made me thank the goddess of pancit for proving me wrong!

I also loved the fact that there were varying textures at each bite. Some of the noodles are soft, while some are crunchy. The bean sprouts also added some crunch to this dish. The squid, fish fillet and shrimps were all cooked to perfection! Plus, the serving of the seafood is very generous. Biglang nag-flashback sa akin ‘yung pancit na nabili ko sa office na may isang hiblang carrot at isang pirasong atay! HAHAHAHA!
