Years before milk teas became popular, there was the yogurt bandwagon. Today, yogurts are no longer limited to the ones that can be found on the frozen section of groceries. If I’m craving for ice cream but too guilty for the extra calories (and waistline inches), yogurt is my best alternative.
A couple of months ago, I bought a Deal Grocer voucher for the newly-opened Qoola at Robinsons Manila. I keep on forgetting to redeem it until I realized that I only had a few days left before it expires. So on my birthday, I dragged my hubby and my parents after dinner to Qoola. Unfortunately, they are not yogurt lovers so they weren’t as excited as I was.
The PHP100-worth of voucher allowed us to purchase PHP200-worth of yogurt. I looked at all the toppings available and was extremely overwhelmed. I wanted to put this and this and this and this. HAHAHA!
I wanted to have fruit toppings on my yogurt. But since it was my birthday, I excused myself from the “healthier” options. :p FYI, they have gummy bears!!! *clap clap clap* I was so tempted to have gummy bears with yogurt toppings! :p
The very friendly cashier assisted us and asked whether we want to have a single cup. We wanted to try two flavors of the yogurt so we told her we’d have two instead. Hubby chose chocolate while I had the wild berry. I would have wanted to put tons of toppings on my yogurt, but I was already too full from our dinner. Hubby asked for the chocolate sprinkles. I got white chocolates. The cashier asked us additional PHP4 because it exceeded the weight limit. Heehee.
The chocolate-flavored yogurt tastes really good! But we all agreed that the wild berry flavor is better. I think Qoola was able to convert three non-yogurt lovers!
Aside from the wide array of toppings to choose from, their yogurt is creamier compared to the others I’ve tried before. I also have to commend the ambiance of Qoola. The interiors are very inviting making Qoola a perfect venue to meet your friends and colleagues for some chit-chat.
