When I first went to Amici, everybody told me that I should have tried their gelato. I was so full that I didn’t have the chance to try the gelato from Cara Mia. I was simply delighted when they put up a kiosk in our building canteen. I love their New York Cheesecake gelato and Choco Sans Rival gelato cake. I have always wanted to try it with my dear Boyet (Cara Mia is Italian for my dear) so I was so disheartened when I came home from the US and found out that Cara Mia was gone. Luckily, they opened another branch in Robinson’s Place Manila.
I got Sans Rival while Boyet had Choccolato. Mine is sweet while his has a bit of bitter kick. I actually fell in love with gelato the very first time I tried it. Its texture is smoother than that of an ordinary ice cream. If you love Cara Mia’s gelato, then you should try their gelato cakes. For a more memorable experience, indulge yourselves with the sweet treats from Cara Mia and share it with your "cara mia". :)
