Just a 5-minute drive from the Canal Park is the Leif Erikson Park, an extension of which is the Rose Garden. I was definitely mistaken when I thought that nothing will be more beautiful than the Canal Park because there are no words to describe the splendor of the Rose Garden.
Aside from the different varieties of eye-catching roses, the park also boasts of other gorgeous flowers and plants.
This is the first time that I am actually running out of words because the pictures can just speak well of how beautiful the place is. No photograph can go wrong when you’re in this place.
I am not a fan of flowers but seeing the Rose Garden made me change my mind.
I love the thought that you can sit at the benches facing the famous lake as you feel the chilling wind blowing in your face.
But we didn't miss the fun of enjoying these benches! Haha! Believe me, people just couldn't stop staring at us!
Zel and I also had our share of "moments" under this lamp adorned with hanging flowers. We just kept on telling each other that it is actually a perfect place for a pre-nuptial pictorial. Haha!
Thank God none of these boys are our fiances! :p
We actually witnessed 3 weddings during our brief stay at the park. I was lucky to observe one. :)
It may be the flowers or the air but there is definitely something about the place that makes it so romantic.
Our last stop was a steep trail to get a closer look of the Lake Superior. And of course, to take more pictures.
