It was quite a disadvantage going to Baguio to catch the Panagbenga Festival because every place is so crowded. Before we could even order our food, I heard someone say “Sana sa Gerry’s Grill na lang tayo kumain”. I wasn’t sure if she was disappointed with the food or with their service.
I wasn’t happy either. First, we waited for quite a while before a waiter could attend to us. Second, they got Jeff’s orders mixed up. Third, they served my dessert before everything else.

Boyet and I shared a plate of Spaghetti Bolognese which was my fourth disappointment. There was something off with this dish and I was thinking that their wine was the culprit.

Spaghetti BologneseI liked their chocolate milkshake but it took us 4 to 5 follow-ups before it reached our table. So that would be my fifth disappointment.

Pizza HannaThe whole group shared a whole Pizza Hanna. Thank God that one was good. I loved the crispy buttery crust and the distinct cheesy taste of the pizza.
The last disappointment was the funniest! We all asked for a glass of water. We had to ask twice before getting only 2 glasses. And they had to wait for us to finish our shakes before getting two more glasses. So apparently, they ran out of glasses! That was just hilarious! =))
I just hope that Pizza Volante’s poor service was just brought by the fact that their crew was already exhausted for days of never-ending serving a large number of people. I hope things are better on ordinary days.
And by the way, I wasn’t the only disappointed customer…
