Kolokoy Household: Episode 66

Helloweeeeehhh!!! Would you believe that the last Kolokoy Household episode was posted November of last year?! I love motherhood and all its craziness, but I terribly miss blogging. Every single day has been a struggle. I come home from work with my mind all drained up. And the moment Zayne “smells” me, she clings to me until she falls asleep! It is a no-brainer that blogging always takes the back seat. I know that this phase will not last forever. The day will come when my Little Kolokoy will no longer need me the way she does now so I will just cherish and enjoy every single second that she looks at me like I’m the biggest and coolest rock star in the universe. Anyway, let’s just hope that this will not be the first and last Kolokoy Household post for 2016! :p


PASAN KO ANG DAIGDIG

One night, I saw Boyet laughing non-stop while he was continuously scratching his head. Mukhang sobrang problemado!

Boyet: Grabe, Nay!
Me: Bakit?
Boyet: Ang tagal na akong takang-taka bakit ang bigat bigat ng bag ko. Tinanggal ko na lahat ng kalat pero nakukuba pa rin ako sa bigat! Tapos kanina, laptop na lang ang laman pero sobrang bigat pa rin. Tapos eto pala ang dahilan…


Me: Hahahahaha! Kaya pala kahit anong kain mo, hindi ka tumataba!
Boyet: Bwahahahahaha!!!


DEADPOOL

Some random (non-sense) conversation while we were on our way to work...

Me: Ang tagal na nating hindi nakakanood ng sine!
Boyet: Oo nga e. Maganda daw ba 'yung Deadpool?
Me: Sabi nila oo daw. Pogi ng bida e. Hehe!
Boyet: Pfffffttt! Bakit ka pa manonood nun, e pinag da-drive ka na ni Ryan Reynolds...
Me: ...
Boyet: Ryan Reynolds... Ballpen!

RUNNING WATER

We recently bought Zayne a teether.

Boyet: Nay, hugasan mo na 'yung teether ni Zayne.
Me: Eto nga hinuhugasan ko na. Ginamit ko 'yung bottle cleaner niya.
Boyet: Siraulo 'yung saleslady sa Mothercare e.
Me: Bakit?
Boyet: Running water lang daw pwede na?! Pahahabulin ka pa sa tubig?!

Boyet noticed that I was reading something while I was breastfeeding Zayne.

Boyet: Ano ba 'yang binabasa mo?
Me: Me Before You.
Boyet: Ano 'yan?
Me: Ni-recommend sa'kin ni Aubrey. May movie na rin 'to e. Si Finnick 'yung bida saka si ano...
Boyet: Sino?
Me: Si ano... 'yung bidang babae sa Game of Thrones?!
Boyet: Si Cercei?
Me: Hindi. 'Yung blonde! Khaaaaa...
Boyet: Si Daenerys?
Me: Ayun! Ang nasa dulo kasi ng dila ko Khaleesi.
Boyet: Ahhh. Pupunta daw siya sa Pilipinas e.
Me: Ah, talaga?
Boyet: In-invite daw siya sa Eat Bulaga.
Me: Wehhh?!
Boyet: Oo nga! Mag-guest daw siya sa KHALEESI-rye!
