Kolokoy Household: Episode 51

Hello, my dear readers! The Kolokoy Household is back! Haha! I can’t believe that we’re already in the middle of October, and yet this is just my first Kolokoy Household post for this month. Mr. and Mrs. Kolokoy are extremely busy these past few days. It’s not that we have become less happy because of our respective jobs. It’s just that when something funny happens, I have the tendency to forget it because my mind is already overused. ‘Yung tipong, “Bakit nga ba tayo tumatawa kanina? Pang Kolokoy sana ‘yun e!” Kaso, waley na kaming maalala! Haha! Kaya pasensiya na sa mga hingi ng hingi ng Kolokoy Household. Tiyaga muna kayo sa food posts ko! =)) After neto, baka next month na uli ha. :p


SPONGEBOB

I bet you probably know that Sarah Ang Munting Prinsesa is back on ABS-CBN. While I was waiting for my turn for my doctor’s appointment, I saw a plug of the morning shows of ABS-CBN. Apparently, Sarah would be aired right after Spongebob. It would then be followed by Marcelino and Pedro Penduko.

Me: Nakita mo na ‘yung patalastas ng Princess Sarah?
Boyet: Hindi pa. Bakit?
Me (singing): Sarah, Sarah, prinsesa. Lavinia, Lavinia, kontrabida. Marcelino Pan y Vino. Pedro, Pedro Penduko.
Boyet: Hahahaha!
Me: Kaso ang bobo ng ABS-CBN. Kulang e!
Boyet: Bakit?
Me: E kasi bago ‘yung mga ‘yun, Spongebob muna. Kaya dapat ang kanta… Spongebobg, Spongebob, ispongha. Sarah, Sarah, prinsesa. Lavinia, Lavinia, kontrabida. Marcelino Pan y Vino. Pedro, Pedro Penduko.
Boyet: Ang taba ng utak mo!!!




OMPONG

I was reading my Facebook feeds when I read a news article regarding Typhoon Ompong.

Me: Hayy! Bagyo na naman! Pero buti hindi tatama si Ompong sa Pilipinas. Kaso kawawa naman ang Japan.
Boyet: Oo nga e.
Me: Pero ang galing o. Si Ompong ang international name niya ay Vongfong.
Boyet: Ah, so sa Japan, si Vongfong na siya?
Me: Oo.
Boyet: Tatama ba ‘yan sa Korea?
Me: Hindi. Hindi naman yata binabagyo ang Korea e.
Boyet: Ah, buti naman. Baka kasi pangalanan nilang Jampong!
Me: Hay naku!


WALTER

My husband and I were watching TV when we saw an upcoming boxing match. I think one of the boxer’s surname is Walters.

Boyet: Ano sa Tagalog ang Walter?
Me: Huh?!
Boyet: Hindi ba ang Peter, Pedro. Ang John, Juan. So ano ang Walter?
Me: Wala!
Boyet: Meron.
Me: Ano?
Boyet: E ‘di TULBIG!
Me: Hahahahaha!
