Throwback Thursday: Star City (circa 2008)

I was trying to clean and organize my laptop when I stumbled upon a set of photos, which I haven’t blogged and even posted in any of my social networking sites! And since today is Thursday, I might as well post these photos under my Throwback Thursday category! These photos were taken way back 2008. Those were my BAKAL DAYS because I was still wearing my braces. Ugh! At ang payat payat naming lahat dito! =))

Anyway, even before we had the budget and the courage to plan out of town trips, we did spend time together doing things like this. Unang napag-trip-an ay STAR CITY! Ewan bakit. Siguro kasi ayun ang mura?! Bwahaha! Aubrey was not in these photos because she got MIA for a couple of years until she woke up to her senses and realized that her life was not as cool without us. Bwahaha! Siya ‘yung friend dati na sabi ng sabi ng, “Bakit hindi ninyo ako inaya?!” E paano mo maaaya e hindi nga mahagilap. Ok, na-explain ko na bakit wala siya. Ang importante, nagbalik-loob na siya. Let’s proceed, haha!

I remember that this snowman was soooo suplado! Hinabol pa namin ‘to para makapagpa-picture kami. :p


Eto ‘yung parang snow world. I remember paying a separate entrance fee for this attraction. Cameras were also not allowed inside so we had to pay for this photo to be taken. At dito ako nagkapasa!!! There is a giant ice slide which we bravely tried. The guys manning the slide asked us to sit on something before pushing us. 1-2-3 push daw. Nasa 2 pa lang, tinulak na ako ni Kuya! =))


I don’t like going to amusement parks because I easily get dizzy with extreme rides. This photo was a BEFORE PICTURE of a younger version of myself na nagpanggap na matapang. Walang AFTER PICTURE kasi dumiretso ako sa CR para alam niyo na! Merlion mode ako! Bwahaha!




Mag-isa lang kasi ‘yung bata kaya tinabihan ni Boyet. Si Jeff at Joie ewan ko bakit ayaw magtabi. Hindi pa kasi sila umaamin that time. Bwahaha! :p


Pero iniwan namin sila sa Ferris wheel para magkasama sila sa isang car haha!


I realized two things after seeing these photos. First, we have been doing a lot of things together for years. Has it really been that long? And second, nadagdagan pala ako ng kaunting ganda kahit papaano. Proportional nga lang ‘yung ganda sa taba! Nyaha! :p
