Why I Don’t Watch #TheLegalWife

Every night, I see a lot of people from my social networking sites who seem to be so mad with a certain woman named Nicole. Apparently, Nicole is the character being portrayed by Maja Salvador in the hit series, The Legal Wife. Walang palya tuwing gabi, may nanggagalaiti akong friend na banas na banas kay Nicole na akala mo sila ‘yung inagawan ng asawa. Ako naman, hindi maka-relate! I don’t watch it. As a matter of fact, I haven’t seen a single episode of The Legal Wife. Don’t get wrong. I have nothing against people watching local teleseryes because I also watch a few once in a while. Hindi naman ako ‘yung mga akala mo kung sinong sosyal na diring-diri sa mga taong nanonood ng teleserye. :p I also have nothing against the lead actors. I admire Jerico’s acting prowess. Pinanood ko mula umpisa ang Pangako Sa’yo! Bwahahaha! I have been watching Angel Locsin since her Click days. And believe it or not, I have nothing against Maja Salvador. I know it’s a very unpopular opinion, but I will never be convinced that Basha deserved to end up with Popoy. It should have been Trisha. And even if the entire country despised Maja when she got involved with the Kim-Gerald conflict, I never hated her. Those things happen in real life. Nagmahal lang naman ‘yung tao. Pinagdaanan ko rin naman 'yun! Haha! :p

So why am I not watching the hottest item on primetime television? I have three reasons.


1. I already have enough stress in my life.

Admit it, nakakastress panoorin ‘yun! If it isn’t, why are my feeds flooded every night by angry netizens? Teleserye man o tunay na buhay, nakakastress ang mga kabit at mga mahaharot na may asawa na pero kumakabit pa rin sa iba! =)) After working more than 8 hours a day, the last thing I would ask for is more stress. The reason I got hooked with G2B is because it is a feel-good TV series. Etong The Legal Wife, baka mabato ko ng sofa ‘yung TV namin! :p

2. It might change my perspective on how adulterers should be treated.

I have zero tolerance with cheaters. I already told Boyet that I can handle anything, except for a third party in our marriage. I warned him that when it happens (knock on wood), I will give him and his mistress their worst nightmare! He asked me what I would do in case he commits adultery. Isa lang sinabi ko, "Susunugin ko buong Tondo para hindi na dumami ang mga haliparot na gaya mo!" =)) Of course I was just kidding. Or not. :p

I know how these local teleseryes work. Iinisin ka tapos sa dulo, happy ending. Iyakan, sorry sorry sa last episode, tapos bati bati din, everybody happy ang ending. Kaya ayaw kong manood, baka lumambot ang puso ko, ma-encourage pa si Boyet na lumandi! :p

3. And the most important of all…

Hindi dapat ginagawan ng teleserye ang mga kabit at mga talipandas! Dapat sa kanila, ginigilitan ng leeg gamit ang blade! Ooops! Masyadong harsh! Sige, sampalin na lang ng paulit-ulit hanggang magkaroon ng amnesia para makalimutan nila ang landi nila?! Pwede na ba 'yun?! Nyahahaha!

Again I was just kidding. But consider this as a warning, Boyet! :p


Sabi ko nga dati, may isa akong dream job. At ‘yun ay maging isang assassin. Aim ko na burahin ang mga mahaharot sa mundo. Bwahahaha! :p
 
Pero sige, walang basagan ng trip. Nood lang kayo ng The Legal Wife. Ako, I’ll just master the art of PURGING these adulterers in my mind, just in case it might come in handy in the future. Hahaha!
