More than the fact that I love to write and I want to have something that I can look back to when I grow old, this blog served as an avenue of friendships. I met a lot of people who told me that they started their own blog because I inspired them to do so. I feel so blessed when readers go out of their ways to tell me that a blog post made them laugh or inspired them to get through a very difficult situation.
I have also been getting a lot of comments and messages thanking me for my very honest reviews. Little by little, businesses are starting to trust my blog to promote their services. I am very proud to say that I worked hard for my readers’ trust. I know that taste is very subjective, but I try so hard to give honest and balanced reviews on this blog. So when someone tells me that they will try a specific product/restaurant because I liked it, I always take that as a compliment. It only means that my circle of influence is getting bigger. And it serves as a reminder that I should strive harder to give my readers the reviews that they truly deserve.

ReplyDeleteI can't help but reminisce while reading your post. Yung tipong habang binabasa ko yung #9 eh may nagpe-play na childhood memories sa utak ko. My aunt kasi used to have her own mini theater in their house. Her TV, the first colored television ever in our barangay, as the movie screen & betamax as her movie player. Piso kada pelikula. Wahaha!
Maybe younger kids won't understand why we get "kilig" whenever we talk about the 80s and 90s. Sorry na lang sila. LOL!

ReplyDeleteI love reading love stories especially when they are based on a true story. They make me realize that warm, funny love stories don't happen only on silver screen and that happily ever after do exist (la la la) despite being with a person for more than a decade. I sincerely admire your "coupleship" because it is a perfect example of a give and take relationship, which I think surpasses the trivial, dramatic affairs most people of today tend to have. Also, I love your cheesiness/mushiness in this post. It vividly shows how you truly love and appreciate your hubby. :)
