Restaurant Review: Banapple At Market! Market!

I felt that I was already depriving myself of good food because of my continuous attempts to save. Since I’ve been constantly declining my teammates’ offer to join them in our Friday team lunch outs, I decided to give in a couple of weeks ago. The choice that day was Banapple Pies and Cheesecakes. They have a branch in Ayala Triangle which I was able to pay a visit only once. It’s always jam-packed making guests wait for almost an hour for their food. Their Market! Market! branch was no different. But it was understandable since Fridays are always the craziest.

I was told that my food would be served in 15 minutes. Alam ko namang echos lang ‘yung 15 minutes kaya inuna ko ang dessert!

Because I’m a big fan of Reese’s, my eyes were immediately hooked into Banapple’s Myster-reese’s Wicked Pie. I think my teammate was trying to talk to me, but my eyes were glued into this decadent cake staring at me from the glass chiller.

Every bite of this cake is heavenly! The cake is not too sweet and has the perfect consistency. This is the best PMS comfort food ever! :p

I was so indecisive while I was choosing what to have for lunch. I was initially choosing between Garlic Beef Tapa with Creamed Parsley Eggs and Hickory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs. I changed my mind at the last minute and settled with the Baked Creamy Cheesy Penne.

Penne pasta in meaty tomato sauce with sautéed Hungarian sausages is topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. Give me anything with loads of cheese, and I’ll probably do anything for you. So can you imagine how my taste buds jumped out of joy when I had my first bite of this delightful pasta dish? If you’re getting this, you might want to consider sharing it with somebody because the serving is really big.

P.S. Apologies for the crappy photo and the lack of prices. I only used my camera phone. And after numerous attempts of going through my wallet, I still can’t find the receipt. :p
