Where To Go In Pagudpud: Patapat Viaduct

Another famous tourist destination in Pagudpud is the Patapat Viaduct. But more than being an eye candy for tourists, the Patapat Viaduct serves to be a very important landmark in the Ilocos region as it connects Laoag and the Cagayan Valley.

The more adventurous tourists dare to lie down along the viaduct to have their pictures taken, but we settled for the traditional (and safer) poses. Although the viaduct is relatively deserted, there were a few cars and trucks passing by.

Some people may think that there’s nothing much to see in this part of Pagudpud. But the sight of the mountains, the feeling of the cool breeze touching your skin and the sound of the flowing water are simply priceless. You can never experience something as mesmerizing as that in Metro Manila.

If you plan to be a daredevil and try to execute the bolder poses, be extra careful. Put your vehicle on hazard, and make sure to listen to your tour guide. Mas importante ang buhay kesa sa pangarap mong Facebook profile picture. :p

P.S. Sorry sa malabong pictures. Tamad na tamad akong mag setup ng camera ko! :p
