It's 2009!

Whew! I can’t believe it’s 2009. I will be 25 years old in a few days. And being a late bloomer, I still feel that I’m just beginning to do the things that I should have done years ago. But I don’t regret anything. At least I am now spending my own money in vacations and shoppings and not the school allowance that my parents worked so hard for. And now, I don’t really need to ask permission from my parents. It’s more of just informing them where I am going. Hehe!

I don’t really do New Year’s Resolutions because I believe that every single day is a chance to improve myself. Changing bad habits should be a conscious choice and should not only be spearheaded during the first few months of the year then sack them off afterwards. So below are not my New Year’s Resolutions but the things that I am looking forward this year.

1. Meet more friends
2. Have more vacations
3. Spend more time with my family
4. Be more patient
5. Start a small business (aside from the one Boyet and I already have which is not doing good hehe)
6. Spend more Saturdays with my badminton buddies
7. Learn something outside I.T. (photography or culinary maybe? ^_^)
8. Go to mass more often
9. Save more for my favorite charity
10. Read more books

And speaking of more books, I’d like to thank my best girlfriend Hervi for sending me four books. Yehey!

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
For One More Day by Mitch Albom
Sam's Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson

Special thanks also to my brother for buying me The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks! :)
