I am not a big fan of Japanese food. I favor Chinese cuisine over it. But each time I go to any Japanese restaurant, I make it a point to try out their maki.
I have been to Sushi-Ya a couple of times before. I usually go at their Robinson’s Place branch after a badminton game so I tend to overeat and forget whether the food is nice or not. I dined out with my family last Sunday at Sushi-ya. Thus under a different circumstance, I discarded ordering their usual bento meals.
We tried Tofu Teppanyaki, Ika Teriyaki, Yakiudon, Miso Soup and Mix Maki. I didn’t favor any of these except for the mix maki. It wasn’t the best-tasting but a variety of 8-pc maki at Php200 is quite a treat already.
