I started using cloth diapers for Zayne when she was around 4 months old. But prior to that, we heavily relied on disposable diapers. Now, we use cloth diapers for Zayne during the day and disposable diapers at night and when we go out. For more than a year, finding the right size of disposable diapers for Zayne in the supermarket had been a struggle for us. When she was still a newborn, my husband would go to at least 3 different grocery stores just to find the newborn size, and he would end up hoarding Mamypoko diapers. (I initially tried other brands, but Mamypoko suits Zayne best.) He said that it’s probably because just like Zayne, a lot of babies are born in November! Do you know the popular joke here in the Philippines that a lot of babies are born in November because they were actually conceived on Valentine’s Day? Ang dami daw kasing kaagaw ni Zayne sa diapers! Haha! Let me just make it clear, Zayne was conceived around the last week of February. I am sure of it because I underwent a strenuous fertility workup. Mabuti na ang malinaw. Haha! Anyway, there was this one time when our supply was already depleting. I went to check it online and found that Cudsly has it!
That’s the one thing I love about online shopping in general. You don’t need to go out of your way to dress up, drive and pay for parking fees only to go home empty-handed. You just need to go online to find what you’re looking for!
I remember there was this one time when we ran out of Smart Steps bottle cleaner. We drove to the supermarket only to find out that they don’t have any stocks left. If you’re a busy mother like me, then you probably know how hard it is to get out of the house especially if you have your kid with you! Gone are the days when you could get out of the house in less than 30 minutes! It’s especially harder since we don’t have a permanent house help. Anyway, since we only go grocery-shopping once a month, we would always end up buying loads of bottle cleaner. Ang bigat, mga bes! Sumusuko ang triceps ni Papa B! Hahaha! Thank God for Cudsly! You just need to click here and there, and the items are delivered to your doorsteps!
Hoarding kung hoarding! =))
I look at Cudsly as a one-stop shop for busy mothers like me. A couple of months ago, I went to Healthy Options to buy healthy puffs for Zayne. But the nearest branch of Healthy Options is in SM Manila. I you’re an avid reader of this blog, then you probably know that Robinsons Manila is our default mall. I don’t have the energy to go from one mall to another just to buy separate items for my baby. Buti na lang may Cudsly! Hihihi!
There was also this one time when I bought Zayne a straw cup from Mothercare. I got the pink one. When I planned to buy a different color, the remaining stock at the Robinsons Manila branch of Mothercare was also pink! I checked Cudlsy and found two different colors of the same straw cup! Tipid sa pamasahe, dabah?! :p Tapos kapag nag-mall pa kami, may sideline pang food trip. Madalas mas mahal pa yung food trip kesa sa bibilhin for Zayne! Hihi!
Cudsly also has extensive payment options. I was quite hesitant the first time I purchased so I tried to have the cash on delivery option. Trust issues! Haha! I also got to try paying through credit card on my succeeding transactions. And just recently, I used the Paypal credits I earned from blogging to pay for my purchases! Hihi!
The customer care of Cudsly is also very efficient. I once had a question which I coursed through their customer care email. They really do reply! They also provide complete tracking of orders sent via email. They promise delivery in 3 – 5 days. Though I do hope that they will be able to provide a 24-hour delivery in the future. Hihi!
P.S. This is not a sponsored post. I repeat, this is NOT a sponsored post. Mabuti na ang malinaw! Love na love ko lang talaga ang Cudsly! :p
P.P.S. This post had been sitting in my drafts folder for a long time. When I finally got the chance to finish this post, I found out that Cudsly is shutting down on April 30, 2017! My mommy heart is crying! Their site is having a liquidation sale so you might want to check it out. :(
