It’s a very easy read. I’m amazed as to how Forman was able to expound the story given the very limited setting. If I’m not mistaken, the entire story, minus the three years worth of flashbacks, only happened in a couple of days. If I Stay was narrated in Mia’s point of view, while Where She Went was in Adam’s. That made things a little more interesting especially with how the lyrics of Adam’s songs were injected all throughout the book. It somehow explained Adam’s life for the past three years.
What appealed to me the most is the fact that Where She Went tackled about one of the hardest things when it comes to love, death, and relationships – CLOSURE. A lot of people are living in a life full of what-ifs and what-could-have-beens. Lucky are those people who get a second chance in life and finally have the answers to the questions of their hearts. The ending is something I was expecting, though. But I can forgive Forman because I liked how it ended anyway. =)
Haven't read both books but I already watched the first movie installment. I love the movie and I'm sure the book is way way way better. Medyo bitin ang movie and I'm one of those who can't wait for the second installment. As for the book, kailangan ko ng maraming kasipagan ulit haha
