McDo’s Big Breakfast is my all-time favorite. I am so tempted to launch a signature campaign so that McDonald’s will consider serving their breakfast meals the whole day. I love their Big Breakfast so much. And because of this, it has become Boyet’s default peace offering. ‘Yung ibang asawa, chocolates ang pang-amo kay misis. ‘Pag sa’kin, Big Breakfast lang! Nyaha! :p
I have been coming to the office earlier than the usual. And because of this, I woke up really early today! I woke up at 5AM on a freakin’ Saturday morning! Ang masama pa neto, naalimpungatan ako! Akala ko may pasok! Hashtag ModelEmployee! :p
And since I was already wide awake, I decided to cook breakfast for Boyet. Hindi naman kami nag-away so hindi ‘to peace offering. Harharhar! Incidentally, we went to S&R yesterday so I was able to purchase my favorite sausage patties. Believe me. Chef’s Selection’s Breakfast Sausage Patties is the closest you could get to McDo’s sausage patties!
This is a no-brainer recipe. Hindi ko masyadong na-unleash ang inner Martha Stewart ko! =))
INGREDIENTS:
Chef’s Selection Breakfast Sausage Patties
For the scrambled eggs:
3 eggs
1/8 cup milk
1/8 cup grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste
butter
DIRECTIONS:
1. Beat the eggs. Add the milk, cheese, salt and pepper.
2. The secret to having good scrambled eggs aside from adding milk to make the eggs fluffier is by cooking the eggs in low heat. Heat the pan in very low heat. Add a little oil and butter.
3. When the pan is sizzling, turn off the heat then add the egg mixture. After 15 seconds, put the stove back in very low heat.
4. Do not stir. Allow the eggs to cook for around 40-60 seconds, or until you see the eggs starting to set. Take a rubber spatula and gently push the eggs from the edge towards the center.
5. When there’s no more liquid, turn off the heat. Then continue stirring the eggs until everything has been cooked.
6. Fry the sausage patties. (Ahhmm, siyempre naman! :p)
7. Using the same pan, saute garlic. Once brown, put the rice.
This is best served with a cup of hot coffee! I should have bought hash brown na rin sa S&R para Big Breakfast na talaga! =))
