My Morning Rush Tribute to my Mother (haha)

I’m just so tired. All the muscles and veins in my body are going wild. It’s been one hell of a week. And I am expecting another week of turmoil before I head to Baguio for my much needed R&R. Good thing there is the Morning Rush of RX93.1 to keep my sanity. I have been listening to Chico and Delamar since high school. I have always been a silent rusher, which means that I listen without joining their top 10. Out of boredom and curiosity, I joined last December 16. Their topic was about the top 10 resignation quotes. The bitchy side of me came out. I think I landed on number 2 (or 3) at that time. And since then, I join the daily top ten once in a while.

Today they did the top ten family quotes. I have a lot of quotable quotes considering that I have a crazy family. It’s in the genes! I sent an entry without any hopes that it would be read. I was taking a bath when Chico read Kriska’s entry. I was saddened when he read the #2 entry because I thought that I lost the chance. And then whoala! I was number 1! Wooohooo! I know you are curious to hear it. This is my exact entry but Chico tweaked it a little bit.

Last Tuesday, my mom got angry because I forgot something she asked me to do. I told her that she didn’t say anything about it. When I came home, she said angrily, “Sinabihan kita! Tumawag ako sa office mo kaso wala ka na!”

I was laughing out loud because Chico delivered it with so much anger and conviction! Haha! I am so proud because the last time I was on number 1 was when I graduated in high school! I love the Morning Rush!
