Kolokoy Household: Episode 59

Published on January 12, 2015

Hello! How are you? I hope you’re all fine and happy this second Monday of the year. In case you don’t know, January is my birth month. But for some odd reasons, it’s one helluva crazy month for me. And I can’t believe that it’s just the 12th day of the year. I won’t bore you with stories about how crazy these past few days have been for me because it’s a Monday! The only consolation I have is that this is already my second Kolokoy Household post for this month. =)

DILIM

One time during dinner, we were talking about parents who are scaring their kids with nonsense things to discipline them.

Me: Oo naman. Hindi ako takot sa dilim. Kita niyo napangasawa ko, ang dilim!
Papa: Hahahahaha!

EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN

I was asking my younger brother for suggestions on where I can celebrate my birthday. Mama then asked me if we could try the eat-all-you-can restaurant that she saw in a TV show in GMA News TV.

Mama: Ano nga ‘yun, Je? ‘Yung episode na kasabay ng Buffet 101.
Me: Hindi ko na maalala e.
Mama: May NAVY ‘yun sa pangalan e. Alam mo ba ‘yun, Abes?
Abes: Yvan Navy? Hahaha!)
Mama: Sira ulo!
Abes: Army Navy???
Mama: Hindeeeeeee!!!
Abes: Call Me Navy?
Me: Hahahahahahahaha!

FAVORITE LETTER

Yesterday while we were watching a TV mass at home, Boyet suddenly cracked a (very corny) joke!

Me: Ano?
Boyet: E ‘di LITURGY!

POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN

I have a Popeye shirt hanging outside our cabinet. One morning while I was still half asleep, I heard my husband singing this in the tune of Popeye the Sailor Man.

Boyet: Popeye the Sailor Man
Nakatira sa garbage can
Si olive payatot
Kumain ng kulangot
Popeye the Sailor Man
Tooo tooot…

Kaya, eto. Tinuruan niya ako! =)) Pasintabi sa mga kumakain. Hihi. :p

Enjoy the rest of the week! =)
