I spent hours wrapping gifts last night so I wasn’t able to post this Kolokoy Household entry at its usual time. As soon as I was done, I got hooked to watching the premiere of Catching Fire on Star Movies. I already watched it last year after reading the book twice! Walang sawa! :p
Speaking of gifts, my husband is extremely busy these past few days so I took the lead in planning what to give out to our family and friends this Christmas. He kept on bugging me to have my own list, but I kept on telling him that I already have one inside my brain. Haha! But because I am a submissive wife (charot!) and I simply want him to shut up, I came up with my list. E kaso mo, siya walang list! Pabalik-balik tuloy kami sa mall. At eto pa, ha! Because he is very busy, I didn’t bug him to help me in wrapping the gifts. But yesterday, I had to meet my best friend, Aubrey. I already wrapped our gift for Skye, but I forgot to wrap my gifts for Erlie and Aubrey. I asked Boyet to write the two gift tags while I wrap the gifts.
Boyet: O, ok na.
Me: Erlie Flor Tenorio?!
Hehe!
Boyet: O eto na.
Me: Sino si Aubrey Regina Reyes?!
Boyet: Ano bang complete name ni Aubrey?
Me: Celerhina Aubrey Reyes!!!
Boyet: E bakit kasi Aubrey Reigne ‘yung nasa blog niya?!
So, kasalanan talaga ni Aubrey! :p
Boyet and I have been drinking 3-in-1 coffee for years. When we ran out of supplies one day, I was forced to make our coffee. I was surprised when Boyet loved it! Ang galing ko daw magtimpla ng kape. Maya-Ser Chief lang ang peg?! But when I restocked the 3-in-1 coffee…
Me: Gusto ko ng 3-in-1. Tinatamad akong magtimpla. Kakabili ko lang ng Kopiko kahapon.
Boyet: Ano ba ‘yan?!
Not once, not twice, I actually lost count na nga!
Me: Ano ba 'yan? Ano bang kinain mo? Kanina ka pa utot ng utot!
Boyet: Buti nga walang amoy e!
Me: E ang ingay ingay mo naman.
Kinabukasan…
Boyet: ... ... ...
Me: Umutot ka?!
Boyet: … … … (insert smiling face here)
Me: Umutot ka ‘no?!
Boyet: … … …
Me: Kadiri! Umutot ka ‘no?!
Boyet: I will not confirm nor deny. Hihi.
Me: Grabe!
The electric fan that Boyet and I use in our room suddenly stopped working. I remembered that we just had it fixed this year. Boyet and I agreed that if the repair will cost more than PHP500, then we would just buy a new one.
Kasi kakapagawa lang niyan this year.
Papa: Ok sige.
After 3 days…
Pa: Nak, hindi pa dumadating ‘yung gumagawa e.
Me: Sige, ok lang. Gamit naman namin ‘yung isa pang bentilador.
But just last Wednesday, my parents decided to go to the mall to do their last-minute Christmas shopping. And this was the first thing I saw in our room!
My parents decided to give us a new electric fan as their Christmas present! But what surprises us more was the note attached to it, handwritten by Papa Kolokoy.
