Product Review: Member’s Selection Trail Mix and Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps

One of the many things why I love going to S&R is having more food discoveries. My taste buds and my tummy are always welcome to try new things. I am just not sure whether my thighs, hips and arms can say the same because they are all probably saying, “Overloaded here!!!” Nyaha!

Anyway, I made two very nice food discoveries when we braved S&R’s latest grand sale last month. I was a little hesitant to try both because nobody from the household was eager to give it a try. E super laki so baka hindi ko maubos. But since both were on sale, bahala na lang si Batman! =))

This is my first food discovery. I happened to learn eating trail mix when I stayed in the US for three months. I love trail mix-flavored granola bars that’s why I got a little bit excited when I saw this on the shelf. But my excitement was turned into worry when I noticed that I was buying a 2-pound trail mix. Paano ko nga naman uubusin?! @_@


I tried it as soon as we got home. The trail mix has peanuts, almonds, raisins and candy-coated chocolates. I like the battle of flavors between the saltiness of the nuts and the sweetness of the raisins and the chocolates. I could not stop munching these! I also tried bringing some to the office, and everybody liked it too.

Next thing I grabbed from the shelf was Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps. Thanks to my stupidity because I thought it was a sweet treat. Imagine the horror in my face when I first tasted it and finally realized that it wasn’t. But don’t get me wrong because I still liked it!

Every pretzel is already good on its own. Every bite is like a feast of tanginess. I tried it with cheese spread while Papa tried it with potted meat. Both are really good!

A restaurant is not the only place where you can get a gastronomic delight. Even a trip to the supermarket is a chance for another food discovery. What’s your latest food find? =)
