Kolokoy Household: Episode 7

Years ago when I started this blog, I never thought that the day will come when readers will actually look forward to my posts. Last Monday, the outstanding question I got was, “Bakit walang Kolokoy Household?” HAHAHA!!! I told you before that I’ll schedule Kolokoy Household on a Monday to start our week on a positive note. But I didn’t promise to do it every Monday. If I do so, you might end up reading posts that are pilit. HAHAHA! Kaya, huwag masyadong demanding. Ha, Abby?! :p


DANIEL PADILLA

Daniel Padilla is the hottest thing (Sorry, Daniel Padilla fans. For me, Richard Yap is hotter. HAHA! Sir Chief!!! :p) in the Philippines. I actually like this guy because he has evidently inherited a lot of things from his uncle, my childhood crush, Robin Padilla. :p

One time while we were in the car, I started singing a Daniel Padilla song. Fan na fan lang talaga ang peg ko! :p

Me: Nasa’yo na ang lahat! Minamahal ka nang tapat…
Papa: Si Daniel Padilla kumanta nyan ‘di ba?
Me: Wow! Kilala mo si Daniel Padilla?!
Papa: Oo naman! Nakita mo na bang kumanta  ‘yan?
Me: Oo naman. Bakit?
Papa: Ang galing e! Hindi bumubuka ‘yung bibig!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!


CUTTLEFISH

We attended a wedding where one of the dishes served was cuttlefish. Joie then asked what the Tagalog of cuttlefish is.

Joie: Ano nga ‘yung cuttlefish sa Tagalog? Hito ba?
Me: Hindi. Catfish ‘yun e.
Me (to Boyet): Ano daw Tagalog ng cuttlefish?
Boyet: Hay naku. Hindi nyo alam?
Me: …
Boyet: Ano ang ibang tawag sa baka?
Me: Hmmm??? CATTLE?!
Boyet: O ayun! MATAMBAKA ‘yan sa Tagalog! Nakakainis kayo. Hindi ninyo alam.
Me: Nakikita mo ‘yung buong isdang ‘yun? Gusto mo ibato ko sa’yo?!
Boyet: Hehehe!!!


COCO MARTIN

It was almost 9PM when I received an SMS from my mom who was just on the other room.

Mama: Je, palabas ‘yung pelikula ni Coco at Angeline sa Cinema One.
Me: Ayoko. Nanonood ako sa HBO ng The Lorax. Favorite ko ‘to e.
Mama: Hindi naman para sa’yo e. Sabihin mo sa asawa mo. Idol nya ‘yan e.


COCO MARTIN ULIT

Boyet: Ang sarap ni Solenn o!
Me: Sarap mo mukha mo!
Boyet: Aray! (Binatukan ko kasi!)
Me: Lahat na lang ng sexy ganyan reaksyon mo.
Boyet: Kaya nga, lahat sila masarap. Pero siyempre ikaw, YAMEEEEEE!!! Aray ha! (Siyempre, binatukan ko uli!)

ROSARY

On our way home, I told Abes and Boyet about my officemate (‘yung demanding sa Kolokoy Household na itago natin sa pangalang ABBY :p) who is teaching her daughter how to pray the rosary. She was surprised that there are now four mysteries of the rosary. In turns out, she isn’t the only one. :p

Boyet: Grabe hindi niya alam ‘yun?
Abes: Oo ang tagal na kaya na 4 na ang mysteries ng rosary.
Me: Ang yayabang nyo ha. Sige nga ano ‘yung 4^th mystery?
Boyet: Ano ahmmmm… Ano nga ‘yun? Teka… GLORYFUL!
Me: Ugok! Joyful, Sorrowful tapos Glorious ‘yung luma. Walang GLORYFUL!!!
Abes: Teka. Alam ko ‘yan e!
Me: O sige, ano?
Abes: Ano nga ‘yun? Hmmm… Ayun! MYSTERIOUS!
Me: Isa ka pa! MYSTERIOUS Mystery??? Mysterious na mystery pa? Paulit-ulit? Pag-untugin ko kayo e.

Kids, it’s LUMINOUS Mystery! Not GLORYFUL. Not MYSTERIOUS! HAHAHAHAHA!!! :-)
