Breakfast Sandwiches from Starbucks

Saying that our day yesterday was jam-packed would be an understatement. I already said YES in attending to the Christening of my friend’s son, but I was also scheduled to go to the doctor. Hubby called my doctor’s secretary to schedule an appointment the day before. We were both surprised when we were informed that I would be the 40th patient that day, which only meant that there’s a big chance that I’d miss my friend’s event. We woke up really early yesterday with the hope that we could still have an earlier slot if some patients ahead of us would not be there when we arrive. Fortunately though, I just waited in line for 30 minutes. Dati 6 hours akong naghihintay! :p

We finished a little past 10 AM. We couldn’t make it since the church is in Sucat. It would be too early to go directly to the reception so Boyet and I decided to grab breakfast at Starbucks SM Mall of Asia. We both didn’t have a decent breakfast at home because we were both in a hurry to make it to my doctor’s appointment.

Cashier: Sir, breakfast nyo  po ni Ma’am?
Boyet: Oo.
Cashier: Wow! Ang sarap naman po ng breakfast nyo.
Boyet: Hanggang dinner na namin ‘to. Ang mahal e!

HAHAHAHA!!!!

I remember attending training at work, and our company provided Starbucks sandwiches for breakfast. I convinced my husband to try it with me.

I got their Forest Ham sandwich. The ham is very lean. And since they took out the yolk of the egg, expect a healthier sandwich when you’re getting this. They reheated our sandwiches so the bread had a little crunch. I also love that I could taste some green onions which were mixed with the scrambled egg white.

I fell in love with the Spam sandwich during our training so I suggested this to hubby. How can you resist Spam with tons of black pepper, egg and oozing melted cheese? I liked my Forest Ham sandwich, but I still favor this one. :)

To gulp down our savory sandwiches, we got our default coffee.
