A Breeze of Good Deeds #35: He's Always Been Faithful

October wasn’t really nice to me. I was one of the happiest people when November finally arrived. But as others were enjoying the long weekend, I was battling an extreme emotional rollercoaster. Apologies if I won’t be divulging a lot of details. Anyway, my entire family has been very supportive and has managed to distract me away from the things that are bothering me. But when I finally had some alone time last night as my husband was out for a reunion, I felt helpless. But I realized that a person with a BIG GOD should never feel helpless.

I opened the Bible and God led me to Psalm 107. I was crying as I read about God’s faithfulness and unfailing love. It was as if I was having a real conversation with HIM. “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.” This was repeated four times in Psalm 107!

And when I closed the Bible, I happened to stumble upon this song!

Morning by morning I wake up to find
The power and comfort of God’s hand in mine
Season by season I watch Him, amazed
In awe of the mystery of His perfect ways
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.

I can’t remember a trial or a pain
He did not recycle to bring me gain
I can’t remember one single regret
In serving God only, and trusting His hand
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.

This is my anthem, this is my song
The theme of the stories I’ve heard for so long
God has been faithful, He will be again
His loving compassion, it knows no end
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful, He’s always been faithful
He’s always been faithful to me.

I even can’t remember how I discovered it. It was probably God’s way of comforting me. It's my Father's reminder that He's always been faithful to me.
