Baguio Trip: Day 2 (Lunch at Everything Nice)

The sun’s heat scorched my whole body. I was thirsty, hungry and tired from standing up for almost 4 hours. We went back to the hotel after the street parade. I contacted Kuya Jess, the fx driver who toured my dad and his friends when they visited Baguio. He told me that he couldn’t make it so he sent his friend to drive us. They charge Php200/hour. It was a wise decision since it was so hard to get a ride because of the great number of tourists who came for the festival. Mang Roy fetched us at around 1 p.m. Our first stop was Camp John Hay so we chose a restaurant near it to eat lunch.

We picked “Everything Nice”. It’s a cozy place where they also serve pastries. We saw Pekto there having lunch with co-comedian Bellie and some other friends. I wanted to have a picture with them but I chickened out. :(

Anyway, we all had their soup for the day as starter.

Half-eaten soup :)

What was really going through their minds:
Jeff: Parang masarap ha...
Joie: Yum yum!
Jeff: (naiinggit) Ang damot mo Joie!

I wanted to eat something light that’s why I just had their fresh salad with blue cheese dressing.

Boyet had their Cordon Bleu Chicken.

And of course, there should always be room for dessert! It’s ironic how I had vegetable salad as a healthy choice when I also saved my tummy for some blueberry cheesecake.
